Privacy Policy
How we process and protect your personal data.
Last updated: July 2026
Al Blana Law Office respects your privacy and is committed to protecting personal data in accordance with the Law on Personal Data Protection of the Republic of North Macedonia and relevant international standards. This policy explains what data is processed through this website and what your rights are.
Data controller
The controller is Al Blana Law Office, based at Nikola Tesla 9A/8, Skopje 1000, North Macedonia. For any questions regarding data protection you can contact us at advokat@alblana.mk or by phone at 02 3094 490.
What data we process
The website is hosted on a plan rented from a hosting provider based in the Republic of North Macedonia, which provides the server on our behalf, as a processor. The website itself keeps no database and does not store visitors' personal data.
- Technical server logs: as with any website, the server may automatically create technical logs for security and operation, which may include an IP address. These logs are kept by the hosting provider as our processor; we do not use them to identify you.
- Data you provide voluntarily: when you contact us by email, phone, or through the contact form, we process the data you send us (name, email, phone, and the content of your message) solely to respond to your request. Messages sent through the form are not stored in a database on the site — they are forwarded to our email via the hosting provider's mail server.
- Google Maps: a Google Maps map is embedded on the contact page. When you visit that page, your IP address and basic technical data are transferred to Google in order to display the map, subject to Google's policies.
Purposes and legal basis
We process data to respond to your questions and requests, to provide legal services, and to securely maintain the website. The legal basis is your consent, taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in operating the site securely.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and does not use analytics tools that identify you. Fonts and styles are served from the site itself (same domain), with no third-party requests.
Sharing with third parties
We do not sell or rent your personal data. Data may be accessible only to our hosting provider based in North Macedonia (acting as a processor that provides the server and forwards form messages), and to Google (via the map embedded on the contact page). Data may also be disclosed where required by law.
Retention period
Since the site keeps no database, we retain only the messages you send us (as email correspondence), and only for as long as necessary to respond to your request or as required by legal obligations, after which they are deleted.
Your rights
In accordance with the Law on Personal Data Protection, you have the right to:
- access your personal data and information about its processing;
- rectify inaccurate data or complete incomplete data;
- erasure (“the right to be forgotten”) under the conditions provided by law;
- restrict processing and object to processing;
- withdraw your consent at any time;
- lodge a request with the Personal Data Protection Agency.
To exercise these rights, contact us at advokat@alblana.mk. If you believe your rights have been violated, you may file a request with the Personal Data Protection Agency of the Republic of North Macedonia.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. Any change is published on this page with a new update date.
